She claims she's working hard in the Bahamas.

But Joan Smalls has one beautiful workplace for the week, as she shared a series of photos from the beach on Monday.

The 27-year-old model wowed in a print bikini top as she basked in the sunshine and cheekily revealed to her 1.5million Instagram followers that she'd forgotten half of her swimsuit.

In one snap Joan poses on the shoreline in a skimpy black and white print bikini top, pulling down a pair of tiny black shorts to reveal plenty of skin.

'Last minute dip. No bottoms, no problem. #nothingisgonnaruinmyday,' she captioned the pic.

Another photo shows the stunning model pulling a sultry stare for the camera, with her hair tied back into a high ponytail.

'Yesterday Morning in Paradise #Bahamas #BacktotheGrind,' Joan shared.

The model was busy all weekend Instagramming photos, with another captioned 'beach bum' showing the catwalk star lying on the golden sands in a purple bikini with pert posterior to the camera. 

Joan's highly successful fashion career began in 2007. Since then, she has walked the runway for the most celebrated designers and fashion houses, featured on the most prestigious covers and appeared in popular music videos, including Beyonce's Yonce video.

In 2014, Joan topped models.com’s ranking of the 50 most sought-after models, and appeared on the Return of the Supermodel cover of American Elle.

She also made history when she became the first Latino model to represent Estée Lauder cosmetics, interviewing newcomer Kendall Jenner when she joined. 

Joan, who recently walked in the star-studded Victoria's Secret Show, has been dating entrepreneur Bernard Smith since 2011.
