Scotties Tournament of Hearts field set

The field for the 2016 Canadian women's curling championship filled in Sunday with the final women's provincial and territorial championships decided.

New Brunswick's Sylvie Robichaud, Kerry Galusha of Northwest Territories, Stacie Curtis of Newfoundland and Labrador and Jolene Campbell of Saskatchewan secured their respective titles to gain berths in the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Grande Prairie, Alta.

They join Ontario's Jenn Hanna, Quebec's Marie-France Larouche, Northern Ontario's Krista McCarville, Nova Scotia's Jill Brothers, Manitoba's Kerri Einarson, Alberta's Chelsea Carey, B.C.'s Karla Thompson, Suzanne Birt of Prince Edward Island, Yukon's Nicole Baldwin, Nunavut's Geneva Chislett and defending champion Jennifer Jones of Winnipeg in the tournament Feb. 20-28.

Nunavut, Northwest Territories, Yukon and B.C. play in a pre-qualifying tournament Feb. 18-19 in Grande Prairie with the winner advancing to the main draw.

The Scotties winner represents Canada at the world championship March 19-27 in Swift Current, Sask.

Robichaud scored four in the seventh end en route to a 7-6 win in Sunday's final over Melissa Adams in Moncton. Campbell defeated Stefanie Lawton 7-4 in the Saskatchewan women's final in Prince Albert.

Curtis went 4-0 to top a round-robin tournament in St. John's, N.L., while Galusha went 5-1 to win in Hay River.
