Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss welcomed her first child with husband Todd Tucker on Wednesday.
And the next day the 39-year-old Bravo fixture revealed to People the name of the little boy: Ace Wells Tucker, who was born at 7 lbs., 6 oz.
'We named our beautiful baby boy Ace because I wanted something unique. When he becomes school age, hopefully he won’t have to worry about another person in the class having his name,' the reality star told E! News.

She also told People: 'Todd and I have been waiting so long for his delivery and he is so very perfect.'
She smiled from her hospital bed just hours later as family gathered round to meet the baby boy.
The TV icon, who underwent a C-section, looked great as she posed beside her sister in a photo she shared to Instagram.

She captioned the image: 'I was happy to see my sis @majorgirl today. I'm mad we didn't get to do a pregnancy belly pic together. We should've thought of that before today! Lol!'
Meanwhile Todd's teenage daughter Kaela shared a touching snap of the proud dad gazing at his precious bundle.
She wrote alongside it: 'My favorite guys'
As they welcomed their son, Kandi told People 'Todd and I have been waiting so long for his delivery and he is so very perfect.'

In a touching photo that the couple shared with People, the tot's tiny hand can be seen wrapped around Todd's index finger.
Todd, 43, shared a selfie of the couple in hospital earlier in the day which he captioned: 'Getting ready for Baby Tucker 1.6.16! I can't wait to meet my little man!'
Kandi made no secret of her struggle to conceive her second child as she revealed on her Bravo reality show.

She is also mother to 13-year-old daughter Riley while Todd is father to 19-year-old daughter Kaela from previous relationships.
The TV star revealed in July that her pregnancy was pretty smooth sailing, saying: 'No craving or morning sickness thank goodness,' and added 'I'm just tired all of the time.'
Todd was a former line producer on Real Housewives when he and Kandi started dating.
They became engaged in 2013 and got married the following year.
