Canadian Marielle Thompson won a women's World Cup ski cross event Saturday at Nakiska Ski Resort.
It was Thompson's second win in as many races and third this season. She also successfully defended her 2015 title from Nakiska.
Anna Holmlund of Sweden was second while Andrea Limbacher of Austria finished third.
Overall World Cup leader Jean-Frederic Chapuis of France won the men's event.
Armin Niederer of Switzerland was second ahead of Calgary's Brady Leman. Leman was coming off a bronze medal performance last week and had the race lead until just before the finish line.
