It is the night of nights when it comes to music awards.

And the great and the good  who were psyching themselves up in preparation for the 2016 Grammy ceremony on Monday took to social media to share some of their preparation for the big event.

Justin Bieber appeared to be undergoing a beautifying session before he made his big appearance.

He posted a shot of himself having what appeared to be an anti-ageing face mask. 

A moisturiser-impregnated fabric face mask, known as a ‘cheat sheet’ because it lets you cheat your way to a brighter, clearer complexion in minutes has almost become de rigeur for celebrities in recent months.

At 21, it wasn't like he really needed the treatment to get rid of lines and wrinkles.

However it is no surprise he wanted to look his best - he is up for his first ever grammy thanks to his collaboration with Skrillex and Diplo. 

Meanwhile Demi Lovato took to Twitter to show off a fresh faced look.

Looking like she was still lying in bed, the 23-year-old star posted a picture of herself make-up free and captioned the shot; Good morning Grammy Day!!!'
