Andre Drummond, a six-foot-11 centre for the Detroit Pistons, threw up a 70-foot shot at the end of the third quarter against the Toronto Raptors at The Palace of Auburn Hills Monday night and swished it.

The big man averages 17.1 points per game, mostly from in the paint. In fact, he struggles from the free throw line, hitting only 34.9 per cent of his shots.

But he took dead aim from near the Pistons bench as the third quarter was winding down and connected from 70 feet. Nothing but net. It was the 22-year-old University of Connecticut product's third 3-pointer of his four-year career.

The 3-point bucket closed the gap on the Raptors to 70-65 in Toronto's favour at the end of three quarters. But the Raptors pulled away in the fourth quarter to post their 14th victory in 15 games, 103-89.
