Coldplay may have been the headliners, but Beyonce was undeniably the star of the Super Bowl halftime show.
And the singer proved her star status is entirely justified, when she stopped herself from falling with an amazing freestyle dance move on Sunday.
The 33-year-old star was in the middle of an energetic routine when eagle-eyed viewers spotted her nearly stumble as she performed her new track Formation.

The mother-of-one was front and center of her backing dancers, putting in some fancy footwork.
Queen B showcased a particularly energetic move, which involved her jumping into a squat position and then up out of it again.
For a fraction of a second she appeared to stumble, before correcting herself with a jump backwards.

But Beyonce's devoted fans turned to Twitter to ensure that their Queen's accomplishment did not go unnoticed.

Beyonce belted out her new track Formation, and then also performed alongside Chris Martin for the songs Funk You Up and Fix You.
