'Today is the day!' DWTS Witney Carson ties the knot with high school sweetheart Carson McAllister

Dancing with the Stars pro Witney Carson tied the knot with her high school sweetheart, Carson McAllister.

The pair, both 22, got engaged in October and made things official as they got married on New Year's Day.

'Can't believe today is the day!!! Finally get to be with my love forever and all eternity,' the blonde beauty wrote alongside a stunning black and white photo of the couple.

Carson shared several tweets and snapshots of her memorable occasion on social media including a photo of the lovebirds holding their marriage license.

Just days before their nuptials, the beauty went makeup-free for a picture holding her marriage license with McAllister and wrote: 'It just got real people... #cantwait.'

The two Carsons wed in a beautiful ceremony on Friday in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints during a three-part celebration, according to People magazine.

'I'm just excited to start our lives together,' Carson told People of their intimate religious ceremony, which was followed by a large dinner and reception.

The season 19 of DWTS winner had several of her fellow pro dancers in attendance as Emma Slater, Lindsay Arnold, Brittany Cherry, and Jenna Johnson were even included as bridesmaids.

Carson invited her former DWTS partners Carlos Penavega, Chris Soules, and Alfonso Ribeiro, while pro Kym Johnson and her boyfriend Robert Herjavec also attended.

The blushing bride wore an embellished gown by Rivini and guests were given monogrammed clutches (for women) and wallets (for men) as wedding favours.
