RHOBH's Lisa Vanderpump defends Yolanda Foster's husband David

David Foster came under fire for some comments he made about Yolanda Foster’s breasts, as she was recovering from having her implants removed.

Yolanda, 52, had the silicone removed after it began to leak, and she feared it would make her sick.

Her recovery was aired on The real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Monday night, with her now ex husband David, 66, at her bedside.

As Lisa Vanderpump called to check on the former model’s progress the music producer quipped about the size of his wife’s chest.

‘Let’s just say this Ken [Lisa’s husband] has better tits than her now…bigger,’ he said to Lisa as Yolanda lay in her hospital bed next to him.

Following the RHOBH episode Andy Cohen quizzed Lisa about the comments on his Bravo gossip show Watch What Happens Live.

‘Well, David tries to make light of everything,’ explained Lisa.

‘He was just throwing levity into what had been a pretty depressing situation,’ she added.

When asked about accusations that Yolanda was ‘faking’ her Lyme disease Lisa denied that she had ever doubted her friend’s authenticity.

‘I don’t think any of us really thought she was faking her Lyme disease,’ she said, noting that Lisa Rinna had just been ‘listening to gossip’.

Yolanda, mother of Gigi and Bella Hadid, has recently split from her husband David and she has now filed for divorce.

Lisa said she was ‘gobsmacked’ by the news of the divorce.

‘Sideswiped…I didn’t see it coming at all,’ said the 55-year-old restauranteur.

Branded as ‘the Angelina Jolie of adopting animals’ Lisa explained her bizarre swan handling technique.

‘It’s kind of se*ual right?’ she joked.

‘Hanky is doing well actually,’ she added, in reference to her favourite bird, who has been ill.

A caller asked why Lisa was ‘so hard’ on Erika Girardi, about the 34-year age gap in her marriage, considering Lisa’s own 16-year difference with her husband Ken.

Speaking of Erika’s husband, 76-year-old attorney Thomas Girardi, Lisa said she was suspicious at first but soon came to realise why Erika, 44, had married him.

‘I’ve met him now and I absolutely adore him…and I see what the attraction is now, he’s a great guy,’ she said.

Lisa was also quizzed about her Lothario employee Jax Taylor, who stars in her other reality show Vanderpump Rules.

She estimated that his new relationship with Brittany Cartwright wouldn’t last long.

‘Not long…it should have been done by now,’ she giggled.

When asked about her Sur restaurant staff ‘going topless in her swimming pool’ while she was away she joked: ’I’m going to give them a good slap when I see them’.

Calling Jax and James Kennedy ‘bad boys’ she said: ‘Well, women are attracted to bad boys’.

She appeared angry at James Kennedy and leggy Sur hostess Lala Kent, who gave a profanity-laced WWHL interview, she said: ‘They were terrible, I dragged them over the coals…It was embarrassing, the whole thing, they’re still representing the show,’ she said.

Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham famously crashed Lisa’s ‘White Party’ without permission.

‘I didn’t know she was there…and I wouldn’t know her if she sat on me quite frankly,’ she said dismissively.

Lisa appeared on WWHL with Today show host Hoda Kotb, who was touting her new book ‘Where We Belong: Journeys That Show Us The Way’.

‘Sometimes when you meet a guy like Joel…the door is open,’ she smiled.

‘He stays out of the whole TV situation,’ she added later.

Hoda also said she was ’90 percent happy’ for Blake Shelton in terms of his relationship with Gwen Stefani.

Adding: ‘I named my dog after Blake…because he is fine,’ she giggled.

In a game of ‘Shag, Marry, Kill’ the daytime TV doyenne opted to shag Matt Lauer, marry Willie Geist and kill Carson Daly.

‘And I love Carson,’ she apologised.

WWHL returns tomorrow with Eva Longoria on Bravo.
