Montreal Canadiens get Brendan Gallagher back, lose Dale Weise

The Montreal Canadiens and fans were happy to get Brendan Gallagher back on the ice after missing 17 games for two broken fingers but now they have to deal with Dale Weise out for two to three weeks.

The team announced the news on Twitter on Sunday.

Medical update: @daleweise22 will be out 2-3 weeks (upper body injury).

Weise was forced to leave the Winter Classic game in the second period after appearing to injury his right arm or wrist.

The Canadiens have recalled Sven Andrighetto from the St. John's IceCaps in the AHL on Saturday.
