Madonna talks 'challenging times' during concert speech in Mexico... as it's revealed she's going 'to fight to the end' over custody of son Rocco

She's reportedly engaging in a custody battle with her ex-husband Guy Ritchie.

And on Wednesday, Madonna, 57, appeared to have alluded to her struggles during an impromptu speech at her Wednesday night concert in Mexico, Billboard reported.

The battle begin in December when the singer's son Rocco Ritchie, 15, refused to return to New York from London despite a Manhattan judge's court order.

During her concert in Mexico, Madonna paused for a brief second to address the crowd.

Before she delivered her speech, the crowd can be hear chanting her name and applauding the star in a video that appeared on YouTube.com.

'We all go through challenging times in our life, and that includes me. I, too, go through challenging times in my life, and right now is one of them,' she began.

The singer discussed the exhaustion she sometimes feels when it's time to perform.

'Sometimes I think I can't do a show. I don't have the energy, I don't have the strength. I come out here tonight and I can see your faces, and I look into your eyes and I see so much love and it gives me strength.'

Although she did not directly mention her personal situation,  she did feel the need to speak, before she concluded with a message of gratitude. 

'So thank you. You are rebel hearts. I feel your hearts beating with mine,' she finished. 

Meanwhile, a source told People that Madonna is bracing for a bitter custody battle of son Rocco.

'She is going to fight, fight, fight, and she is going to fight to the end,' a friend told the publication, adding: 'She is not happy. She is an excellent mother, and people can say whatever they want – but her children mean the world to her.'

The fifteen-year-old went to London to be with his father, Guy Ritchie, 47, and has yet to return. 

A source revealed to People that Madonna was not going to give up on her son. 

'She is going to fight, fight, fight, and she is going to fight to the end,' citing that the singer 'is an excellent mother.'

According to the site, the former couple are due for a second court appearance in February.
