This address appears on the cover of David Bowie's The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars. It was shot in January 1972, five months before the album's release, by photographer Brian Ward. A blue plaque marks the spot.

Other Bowie sights including his childhood home at 40 Stansfield Road, Brixton; an Aladdin Sane-inspired mural on the wall of Morley’s department store, on nearby Tunstall Road; Denmark Street, which is packed with his former haunts; and 39 Manchester Street, where he lived for a short time (he was said to have frequently visited the Wallace Collection and the Toy Museum).
