John Scott will captain the Pacific Division team at the NHL All-Star Game in Nashville, the league announced Tuesday.

Scott, a veteran enforcer with five career NHL goals, was voted a starter by fans. But his participation was in question after he was traded from the Arizona Coyotes to the Montreal Canadiens, who sent him to the minor leagues.
