It's been over a decade since the finale of Friends.
But now cast members Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, and Matthew Perry will reunite for a special on-air tribute to director James Burrows on February 21, it was announced by NBC on Wednesday at the Television Critics Association.
James has not only directed 15 episodes of the comedy, but countless other sitcoms, including Dharma and Greg, Frasier, 3rd Rock From The Sun, and Cheers.

Friends 'til the end: Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry, and Courteney Cox will reunite for a special tribute to James Burrows in February
The directing icon directed his 1,000th episode in November.
There's a chance, however, that the stars won't be able to reunite all at once.
'I'm hoping that all six of them will be there in the same room at the same time,' said NBC Chief Bob Greenblatt at the Television Critics Association, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Iconic: The characters would often convene for a cup of Joe at their favourite spot, Central Perk
Beloved: Fans watched as the characters evolved over the course of a decade on television
'I don't know, logistically, if we can pull that off.'
NBC's Paul Telegdy assured that all six stars would all be involved, according to the website.
Fans of the beloved sitcom are not doubt eager to see the cast finally reconvene.
Matt was clearly looking forward to the event when he wrote on Twitter on Wednesday, 'Should be a good time!', which former co-star Lisa re-tweeted.
Excitement in the air: LeBlanc was clearly looking forward to the event when he tweeted the news on Wednesday
Not the only one: Kudrow re-tweeted her former co-star's message that day
Not so fast: Courteney Cox, pictured in Los Angeles in November, explained on The Late Show With David Letterman the obstacles she encountered when trying to reconnect with her former co-stars
The fan favourite show lasted a decade and chronicled the lives of a group of tight-knit friends live in New York City.
But over the years, the stars have made no secret of why they were either no longer interested in revisiting their characters or have had trouble reconnecting.
Courteney explained in 2014 on The Late Show With David Letterman the obstacles she was often up against when trying to reunite her co-stars just for dinner.
It's all fun and games until...: Both Lisa Kudrow, pictured in LA in December, and Matt LeBlanc, in West Hollywood in September, have said that if they were to reunite now, it wouldn't be the same
'Let me tell you something,' she said. 'There's six friends and I've been trying to put together a cast dinner for 10 years. It doesn't happen!'
'I can get the girls to come, maybe Matthew Perry. Matt LeBlanc canceled last time right at the last minute, Schwimmer lives here [in New York City], so it's just not gonna happen.'
Lisa, meanwhile, cited her age as the primary reason she wasn't interested in returning to the role of Phoebe.
Co-stars: Jennifer Aniston, pictured in Los Angeles in August, starred as Rachel Green, while Matthew Perry, pictured in West Hollywood in August, portrayed Chandler Bing
'I'm too old,' she told HuffPost Live in 2013. 'I wouldn't even have an interest in seeing what those people are doing 10 years later as parents that have to be responsible. It would be so different that it wouldn't be Friends anymore,' she said.
She added: 'Of course I would do it if everyone wanted to do it. And everyone isn't the six of us - it's David Crane and Marta Kauffman who created the show.'
Matt also discussed the possibility of a reunion on The Meredith Viera Show, and like Lisa, added that the magic of Friends would be lost now that the characters are older.
'Friends was about a finite period of time in your life, like after college and before your life really gets started. That's sort of where you're away from home and you're away from college, and your friends are your family,' Matt said.
'Once that's over, nobody wants to see Joey at his prostate exam,' he added.
'Your friends are your family': During an appearance on The Meredith Viera Show, Matt said Friends captured 'a finite period of time in your life'
