J.T. Miller scooped up his own rebound and scored on a wraparound 3:54 into overtime, and the New York Rangers rallied for a 3-2 victory over the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden.
Mats Zuccarello tied the game in the third period for the Rangers, who outshot the Canucks 49-20, including 19-3 in the third period and overtime.
Derek Stepan also scored for the Rangers, and Henrik Lundqvist made 18 saves.
Ryan Miller was outstanding in defeat for Vancouver. He made 46 saves, one fewer than he had in a win over the New York Islanders on Sunday.
Andrew Burrows and Sven Baertschi scored for the Canucks, who played without captain Henrik Sedin. He is sidelined with an upper-body injury.
