Bill Belichick showed up for a news conference Tuesday sporting a black eye, but wouldn't reveal how he got it.
The famously taciturn Patriots head coach didn't say much beyond "I think I'll live" when reporters questioned him about his left eye, which appeared to be bruised below the brow.

Belichick did not seem amused when asked whether he'd list himself on the team's injury report ahead of its playoff game against visiting Kansas City on Saturday.
"I don't think we need to list coaches on the injury report," he mumbled. "But I'm sure if we're required to do it, we'll do it."
New England, the defending Super Bowl champion, was listed as a five-point favourite against the Chiefs, who trounced Houston 30-0 last week in the opening playoff round while the Patriots enjoyed a bye.
