His 33-year-old estranged wife claimed Michael slapped her and one of her children.

The New York native has been in trouble with the law since Kate accused him of attacking her in October.
Kate said he choked her and slapped their son in the face and shot video during the argument which she turned over to police.

Michael was charged with hitting Kate because of the recording, but he was not charged for allegedly slapping his son.
The couple are now only allowed supervised visits and have also been ordered to take anger management classes.

Michael told Pagesix.com in the wake of handing himself over to the authorities: 'I will get the kids back.

Their split has been less than harmonious - on Tuesday TMZ revealed Kate had filed for legal separation after claiming he tried to sabotage her time in rehab.

Kate alleges he smuggled a cellphone to her, hidden inside a teddy bear - breaking strict rules on patients not having phones.
She also complains that he regularly called the facility to get in touch with her and for updates on her treatment.
In her separation documents, TMZ reported that she's asking for legal custody of their two children, joint physical custody and spousal support as well as their Maserati and BMW.
The blonde says she received a package on December 2nd, containing the items and a note which read: 'Please keep this between us only,' reports TMZ, which she claims came from her estranged husband.
However, Michael denied responsibility for the items, telling the website: 'I never sent Kate any package. The papers say that she got the package from her friends, not me'.

He went on to allege that her treatment centre is to blame, telling them: 'The treatment center that she's in, Sovereign Health, is behind this because I'm suing them because the last time Kate was out there they permitted her to sneak into the male dorm and have sex with one of the other patients.
'Sovereign is behind this entire thing. What treatment centers allows more drama from clients who are in there to resolve indifference - This is the absolute wrong time for Kate and I to be butting heads. We should be on a united front for the sake of our children'.
Earlier this month TMZ reported that Michael wanted the restraining order Kate took out against him in November dropped so that they could meet up in private.

A source said that the couple - who wed in 2014 - were on romantic terms again and meeting up in hotel rooms.
