He's often spotted with a pretty girl on his arm.
But just in case his fans were wondering, Justin Bieber explained that a painful-looking rash on his neck was not caused by an over-enthusiastic admirer.
After he was pictured with angry red marks on his neck, he took to Twitter to explain them.
'These aren't hickeys!' Justin Bieber explained that his painful-looking red neck rash was caused by therapeutic treatment, in a post on Twitter
Looks painful: The red mark was caused by the Graston Technique, a procedure in which microtrauma is induced beneath the skin using metal implements in order to stimulate the body's natural repair process
'In case people think these were hickeys I've been having neck problems and its from this tool called graston to scrape the stagnant blood and scar tissue lol,' explained the 21-year-old.
Bieber was referring to the Graston Technique, a procedure in which microtrauma is induced beneath the skin using metal implements in order to stimulate the body's natural repair process.
While the technique has been known to be used on athletes playing contact sports, it has not been scientifically show to be effective.
Speaking to Men's Health magazine for their April cover this year, Justin revealed that he had injured his neck on a trampoline.
It happened 'about a year ago,' he told the magazine.
'I landed on a trampoline on my neck, doing a backflip, and my neck has been messed up ever since,' said the Baby singer.
Post: The young star told his fans the marks were not 'hickeys'
Bieber has previously spoken of visiting a chiropracter to treat the injury.
His neck is also sporting a large new tattoo of angel's wings, which he had inked on a recent trip to Miami.
According to TMZ Bieber decided to add to his extensive collection of body art in the early hours of the morning last week, while staying at the Versace mansion.
The request sent his entourage into overdrive as they tried to source someone who was prepared to put needle to skin at such short notice.
The lucky tattoo artist who answered their phone in the wee small hours was Dan Price.
He was able to come down to the Versace mansion and get creative.
The new design is Justin's 52nd piece of body art.
Out and about: Bieber was photographed while at The Grove in Los Angeles on Friday
