Three Canadian NHL teams were in action on Thursday night.
Here's a quick look at how they fared:
Kings put Flames on ice
The Los Angeles Kings jumped out to a 3-0 lead after two periods and never looked back, as they ended up defeating the Calgary Flames 4-1.
This was the Flames second straight home loss, after going on an 11-game home winning streak.
Mark Giordano scored the Flames lone goal, while Marian Gaborik and Tanner Pearson each had a goal and assist for the Kings.
Oilers blanked by Ducks
Edmonton Oilers' goaltender Cam Talbot did everything he could in this one making 34 saves, but his offence gave him no support as the Anaheim Ducks shut out the Oilers 1-0.
John Gibson made 21 saves for the shutout and Ryan Getzlaf scored his third goal of the year.
Taylor Hall paced the Oilers with four shots on goal.
Jets grounded by Coyotes
Shane Doan scored his 380th goal of his career, putting him atop the Arizona Coyote's all-time list, and the Coyotes defeated the Jets by a score of 4-2.
Doan added goal number 381 into an empty net that sealed the win.
The game was tied late in the third period, but Oliver Ekman-Larsson's power play goal with 7:25 remaining proved to be the difference.
Adam Lowry scored twice for the Jets.
