Monday night's NHL schedule included two Canadian teams. Here's a quick look at how they fared:
Pacioretty puts stop to Canadiens slide
Max Pacioretty scored the shootout winner to lift the Montreal Canadiens to a 4-3 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning.
The win puts an end to Montreal's six-game losing streak which dated back to Dec. 15.
Tampa erased a 2-1 deficit and grabbed the lead with a pair of goals in the final frame, but Dale Weise scored with just under six minutes to go to help the Canadiens extend the game.
Tough night for Canucks
A hat trick by Tyler Toffoli and Jonathan Quick's 40th career shutout added up to the winning formula for the Los Angeles Kings in a 5-0 blanking of the Vancouver Canucks.
The loss halted a two-game winning streak for the Canucks, who have not strung together three-straight victories yet this season.
