Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which has its world premiere tonight, looks likely to increase visitor numbers to at least one destination. The wild, windswept Skellig Islands, off Ireland's Kerry coast and described by George Bernard Shaw as an "incredible, impossible, mad place", were among the filming locations - and the country as a whole as been tipped for a tourism boom. Getting to Skellig Michael, which holds the remains of a 6th century monastery, isn't easy - the sea crossing is only possible in summer (weather permitting) and numbers are limited.
