Vicki Gunvalson doesn't believe Brooks Ayers has cancer on Watch What Happens Live

Vicki Gunvalson is spending Thanksgiving with her ex husband Donn and admits she wishes they would reconcile.

The Real Housewives of Orange County star made the revelation while discussing her ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers’ fake cancer scandal on Monday during a special edition of Watch What Happens: Live.

She admitted she should never have split from Donn, whom she has not seen for a year.

'I think if I had to do it all over again, I would not have divorced Donn,' she told Andy Cohen.

"I know that for a fact. In hindsight, if we could do things differently . . . He was a great man [and] great husband.

'We both went sideways for multiple reasons, but hindsight, if we could do things differently… he was a great husband.

She revealed they are spending Thanksgiving in Naples, Florida, 'together as a family'. Donn helped raise Brianna and Michael, her now adult children from a former relationship.

She left him for Brooks in 2010 following 16 years of marriage.

She says: 'It’ll be good to see him'

Andy reminded her that Tamra’s psychic, who triggered the unraveling of Brooks' fake cancer drama, predicted Vicki and Donn would get back together.

When asked if that was a possibility, she replied: 'For me, on my end, I would because I want my family back. But I don’t think it is for Donn, he’s really hurt.'

Vicki also shared her side of the Brooks story in the special one on one interview with Cohen in which she insisted she had been duped.

Vicki's relationship with Ayers and his apparently false claims of cancer were the main storyline in the latest season of the hit Bravo show.

Brooks came under fire from Vicki’s co-stars amid claims he was faking his condition, and he later admitted he had falsified medical paperwork.

‘I hate him, I hate what he did to me,’ Vicki told Andy during the special stripped down version of the show.

Andy asked her how she felt when the City Of Hope hospital denied ever treating Brooks.

‘I called him straight away and said ‘What the hell is going on?’ And he said it was a spokesperson from City of Hope and not his doctor.

‘I said ‘'You are a liar, this does not make any sense, you are are lying again, tell the truth.’

Vicki then showed emails from Brooks to her admitting he faked the cancer bills.

‘It means I am not in on this right?’ she told Andy.

‘He had to orchestrate some crazy-a** chain of lies in order for all of this to make sense. He brought his work, friends, me and the cast into this.’

Vicki said her vulnerability and wanting to be loved had blinded her to what was going on.

‘I needed love, I still need love, I own the fact I don’t want to be alone and when I had a man sweeping me off my feet you do put blinders on for things you see red flags about,’ she said.

Vicki said she fought with Brooks every night as the allegations from her co-stars were flying around and she told Andy she now believes that Brooks’s claims were a thought-out plan.

‘He had to fabricate this lie all the way prior to filming,’ she insisted.

‘Because he got diagnosed in September, October of 2014. We are now in November of 2015.

‘So this lie had to be fabricated and thought out way before filming.’

She also said that she has doubts about some of his symptoms.

‘I actually contacted a couple of people, and they said you can actually take eye drops and it can make you violently ill,’ she said.

‘I don't know if he did that, that's pretty sick, but I witnessed him with fevers and night sweats and chills. I mean, he lost 42 pounds in three months.

‘I mean, the extent of what I did for this man, to cure him, I can't even tell you.

‘Time and money and time and money I spent on him.’

Andy then asked her if she believed Brooks has cancer.

‘I don’t believe he does, right now, today I don’t believe he has cancer. Why would he lie about these medical records if he has cancer? He does not have cancer then.

‘I never want to see him, speak of his name again, I want him out of my life.

‘My business is going great, I am a business woman, I am not part of some sort of scam.’

When told her friends on the show thought she may have been, she replied: ‘They do not know the whole story.’

Vicki admitted she may have embellished some facts about Brooks to get sympathy from her co-stars.

‘He was the most hated man on reality TV after I introduced him. I think he came up with this plot and cancer thing so people would be nice to him. How can you be mean to a man that has cancer?’ she said.

‘I have never lied about his cancer, I just relayed what I was told. I am guilty of loving Brooks and believing him.’

Vicki said that she was sorry for her attitude towards her co-stars.

‘I am sorry, 100 per cent sorry,’ she said.

‘I messed up no doubt in not believing the girls. It was nothing more than me defending my man.

‘I needed them to hug me through this. The fact Brooks did this to me and the ladies - he is sick not me.’

Andy asked her if she was still afraid of Brooks.

‘I am afraid of his power, I am afraid of him releasing personal information about me to the public, although there are no nude pictures of me.’ she said.

‘I am afraid of his anger. He feels he has been put through the wringer dating me and he blames me for his demise.’

Vicki admitted she had not wanted to break up with Brooks while filming the reality show as she did not want it captured on camera.

‘I am over talking about it, I really am. I am not in denial, whether he has cancer or doesn’t have it is none of my business any more,' she insisted.
