This beautiful timelapse might just be the closest you'll get to a safari holiday without leaving your living room.
The work of New York-based photographer Tyler Fairbank, it offers a flavour of a classic "Big Five" African wildlife holiday, with grazing elephants, lumbering rhino, dozing hyenas and wallowing hippos all making appearances. After dark, the camera tilts towards the heavens to capture star-filled skies.
Fairbank created the video by stitching together hundreds of individual photos, all taken during a 12-day trip to South Africa this summer. He took almost 15,000 pictures in total.
"My safari guides thought I was nuts taking thousands of photos each day so hopefully now they will understand," he said.
The leopard sightings were a highlight, he added. "You wouldn't realise it from the video but there was a lot of time where we didn't see anything and just drove around in search and tracking animals. It took eight days until we saw our first leopard, but the sightings were amazing and after that we saw three more."
