Marielle Thompson of Whistler, B.C. is fresh off a gold medal performance last weekend in Italy. The 23-year-old is fourth in the World Cup rankings and looking for a repeat in Nakiska after taking gold at the Canadian course in 2015.

On the men's side, Calgary's Brady Leman will be looking for another trip to the podium after last weekend's third-place finish. The 29-year-old enters competition second in the overall freestyle rankings and the ski cross rankings.
