OJ Simpson prepared to kill himself in Kim Kardashian's childhood bedroom in a new trailer released on Thursday for the upcoming American Crime Story series.
Simpson's friend and attorney Robert Kardashian, portrayed by Friends star David Schwimmer, pleaded with a gun-toting Simpson, played by Oscar winner Cuba Gooding Jr, not to harm himself.
'Do not kill yourself in Kimmy's bedroom,' he implored.

Lawrence Schiller, who wrote the book American Tragedy: The Uncensored Story Of The OJ Simpson Defense, recently spoke of the incident that occurred when reality star Kim was age 14.
Simpson, who was a star football player at the University of Southern California, camped out at Kardashian's home after his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and waiter Ronald Goldman were found stabbed to death in June 1994.

Kardashian, who attended Southern Cal before Simpson arrived on campus and became friends with him in the 1970s, was a collaborating source for Schiller's book.
'Then O.J. said, "I'm going to kill myself in this room," and I said, "You can't. This is my daughter's bedroom,"' Kardashian told Schiller in a past recorded interview according to a September report by 20/20.
'My little girl Kim sleeps here. I can't have my little girl in this bedroom, and every time I come in here, I'm going to see your body lying in this. You can't do that,' Kardashian said he told Simpson.

The ensemble cast of the FX anthology series includes Selma Blair as Kardashian's wife Kris who also was friends with Simpson and Brown.
The 30-second trailer opened with John Travolta portraying defense lawyer Robert Shapiro.
'This could be the most high-profile criminal case in the world,' Shapiro told an associate.

Sarah Paulson was then shown as prosecutor Marcia Clark and struggling with the limelight.
'I'm not a public personality, I don't know how to do this,' the prosecutor said as scenes showed her sitting on the floor and crying in a grey business suit.
The trailer also featured Courtney B. Vance as Johnnie Cochran.

The 10-episode series subtitled The People v OJ Simpson will premiere on February 2 on FX.
The anthology series is executive produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk who also co-created the anthology series American Horror Story.
American Crime Story will use the same anthology series format as American Horror Story with different storylines each season.
