Rachel McAdams joked in a pre-fame high school yearbook entry about spending her days living off millions earned from her first movie.
The 37-year-old Canadian actress ironically almost never pursued an acting career, telling her drama teacher she didn't think it was possible to earn a living pursuing her dream.
Her old drama teacher at Central Elgin Collegiate Institute school in St Thomas, Ontario, told DailyMail.com that Rachel had planned to study political science in college.

'I asked her what she was planning to do and she said she was going to study political science.
'I was shocked and said, 'You're not going into acting?''

'She said, ''Well, I don't think you can make a living at it.'' I said to her, what do you really want to do? She paused and said ''to act''.
'So she went and changed her application right there and then. The rest is history. I'm so proud of her. She was such a talent, and such a hard worker, too. The kids at the school are still inspired by her,' Pereira said.
Another former teacher Steve Wookey, who taught Rachel history, law and philosophy, said: 'She was bright and talented. Once for a project she turned up in character as the writer Dorothy Parker.
