IAAF Diamond League track and field

Three Canadians are competing, headlined by high jumper Derek Drouin, the reigning world champion and 2012 Olympic bronze medallist.

Also entered are Pan Am Games gold medallist Liz Gleadle, who will be representing Canada this summer at the Rio Olympics in the women's javelin; and Taryn Suttie, who last month set a personal best and met the Rio qualifying standard in the women's shot put.

CBC Sports' coverage of the Diamond League continues with the meet in Shanghai on Saturday, May 14 at 7 a.m. ET.
