Yolanda Foster had to endure a painful treatment for Lyme disease on Tuesday's episode of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills.
But she also had to cope with randy husband David Foster.
The 51-year-old reality star was undergoing an excruciating dental procedure but David had other matters on his mind.
Chronic illness: Yolanda Foster underwent a painful procedure in her struggle against Lyme disease on Tuesday's episode of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
'What about sex - no sex for 48 hours?' he asked the medical professionals in the room, looking like he was trying to leave as soon as possible.
The remark came after Yolanda feared that she was choking and appeared to suffer mini-spasms.
David arrived halfway through the dental procedure and left while Yolanda was still in the operating chair.
Split up: David was shown in the episode taped months before the couple announced they were divorcing
Tender moment: Yolanda and David kissed as she underwent a dental procedure
Arms crossed: David asked about how long it would take before they could have sex
Ongoing struggle: Yolanda has been battling Lyme disease since being diagnosed in 2012
His wife, sounding groggy and looking puffy and still in pain, tried to joke about her appearance following the procedure, asking her husband: 'Aren't you happy you married me?'
'Thrilled,' he shot back, his voice sounding heavy with sarcasm as he then let out a loud, audible sigh while leaving the room.
The uncomfortable encounter was filmed months before Yolanda and 66-year-old David announced they were seeking a divorce after four years of marriage and nine years together.
Kyle Richards during the episode also revealed that she had been disinvited to her niece Nicky Hilton's 'fairytale' wedding at Kensington Palace - before soon getting reinvited, but without her husband and two of her daughters.
It's complicated: Kyle Richards revealed that she was dis-invited and then re-invited to the wedding of her niece Nicky Hilton
Yolanda, meanwhile, was having the dental procedure to remove the white gold crowns she has for the fear that it could in part explain 'the heavy metals in my blood work.'
'I'm willing to do anything - rip my teeth out, whatever you need to take from me, take it - just please give me back my life,' she said later.
Yolanda ironically had put in the white gold crowns to replace her old crowns, thinking they would be healthier.
Heavy metal: Yolanda was trying to rid her body of heavy metals in a bid to regain her health
Mother of three: The mother of three has sought all kinds of treatments for Lyme disease
And telling her oral surgeon not to 'worry about the beauty' of how her teeth ended up looking, she broke down in tears when admitting her fears at the operation.
'I just want to be sure that whatever you take out and put in it's going to be safe,' she cried.
'Wouldn't be great if I just woke tomorrow and I have a normal brain?' she said as she sat back in the operating chair, crying as she added: 'I just want to have my life back, take care of my babies.'
Wrapping up: David looked on as the procedure wrapped up
David walked in halfway through the procedure, telling a staff member: 'I f***ing hate this.'
But he then tried to soothe her as she started having mini spasm and complained 'I'm choking,' grabbing her hand and telling her: 'Just be calm, baby.'
Afterwards, he told her that she 'did good, baby' - before asking about the effect it would have on their sex lives.
Good job: The reality star was comforted by David during the painful procedure
Seeking a cure: Yolanda said she just wanted to regain her health to be there for her children
News of Yolanda's latest steps appeared to spark further disbelief from Kyle Richards, who looked incredulous when she asked Lisa Vanderpump of the dental work: 'She thinks that's what's making her sick?'
'I've actually spoken to a doctor about that, and my doctor said taking them out can cause more problems because you're disrupting it and opening it - just leave them be,' she insisted.
She then put forward her belief that Yolanda's illness is actual a mental issue, with the physical pain stemming from depression, saying she had similar issues for two years after her mother died.
Group vacation: Kyle and Lisa Vanderpump went on a trip to Tuscany together
'The mental state dictates the physical state,' Lisa said, to which Kyle agreed: 'For me it was.'
'But she doesn't have a stressful life,' Lisa pointed out of Yolanda, who has been struggling with Lyme Disease for some time.
'It's not like she's suffered a great loss or anything.'
Italy fan: Lisa said she loves the Amalfi Coast in contrast to Yolanda who previously dismissed the locale
Lisa added: 'I think what she's thinking is it's not Lyme Disease anymore. Maybe it was but there's something else. Gotta find it - it's destroyed her life.'
Eileen Davidson and Lisa Rinna, however, were not questioning their friend's illness after visiting Yolanda at home - and being stunned by a whole ceiling-high closet packed full of different medications.
'Holy s***- this is way bigger than I can even process,' Lisa said later. 'I have never seen anything like this ever in my life. Serious business.'
Serious business: Yolanda's health care advocate showed Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson a closet full of her medications
Showing support: Eileen and Lisa visited the ailing Yolanda
Eileen, meanwhile, said the visit brought up 'a lot of unpleasant stuff' for her as it reminded her of seeing her sister Connie dying from breast cancer.
'Seeing her in bed - it's just shocking,' Eileen said of Yolanda.
'My concern is that she's gotten a lot worse, and I'm thinking she's in a dark time.'
Shocking visit: Eileen was upset about Yolanda's condition after their visit
After getting out of bed and moving to her front room, Yolanda told the women that she has no intention of leaving her house 'until I get well.'
'I don't remember what it's like to be normal,' she told them. 'I just can't pull it together.'
She then told them about a gruesome parasite infection she had just recovered from, insisting: 'They were, like, two feet long.'
Not well: Yolanda was curled up in bed when Lisa and Eileen arrived
Tough time: The reality star candidly discussed her condition with Lisa and Eileen
After she told them she was 'scared to' hope that she will ever recover, Lisa said later: 'I feel a deep sadness… and a darkness.
'I see a vibrant young woman not being able to live her life.'
Eileen was left in tears as they drove away, and said: 'It seems at this point that Yolanda is so desperate that it's like you're just stabbing in the dark. You'll do anything.'

'Just imagine how hard it is on David and the kids - it affects everybody,' she told Lisa, who said her 'heart is so heavy' after the visit.
But there was some lighter moments of the visit - with Lisa admitting her daughter Amelia 'has such a crush' on Yolanda's son Anwar.
'She goes, ''Mom, I can't look at him, I really can't'',' Lisa told Eileen, later admitting: 'Amelia is going to kill me. But he's like Jesus in our family right now.'

The other main drama of the episode came with Kyle insisting she had been disinvited from her niece's wedding before soon getting reinvented, but without her husband and two of her daughters.
'I was told it would be better if I didn't come to the wedding, so I'm not going,' Kyle had explained to Lisa Vanderpump, who had been trying to help her find a suitable gown for the occasion.
She explained later: 'I've been very close to all of my nieces and nephews, but somewhere along the line something happened where I was told it may be a better idea if I didn't come.'
Something happened: Kyle was coy about the reasons behind her changing wedding plans
'I don't even know how to describe - nor do I want to describe - the relationship between my sisters and me. It's just really bad,' she added, looking close to tears.
'Obviously, this is not something that makes me feel good, but it's Nicky' day and my sister Kathy's day as the mother of the bride so I have to respect their decision.'
However, over dinner during a vacation in Tuscany her family was sharing with Lisa and her husband Ken Todd, Kyle then revealed that she was going after all - just not with her husband or two of their daughters.
Group dinner: Ken Todd and wife Lisa joined Kyle and her family for dinner in Tuscany
Her husband Mauricio admitted it was 'really stupid' that the girls were not invited, but Kyle quickly shut down Lisa's attempts to get her to talk about the drama, just saying: 'I'm going just because I want to see her walk down the aisle.'
'I don't think anyone can understand the dynamics between my sisters and me,' Kyle said later. 'I really don't want to talk about why I was disinvited and then reinvited again - it's nobody's f***ing business.'
At the same dinner, Lisa's husband Ken spoke about his fast-approaching 70th birthday, for which his wife was planning to buy him one of the world's smallest horses.

'When you turn 70 you feel very lucky to still be here,' Ken told the table of diners. 'I tell her, ''You've got to start looking now' - I'm just saying.';
'Why didn't you tell me that when I was on Dancing With The Stars!' Lisa quipped, saying later: 'If I had to replace Ken I could go back to that Gleb Savchenko guy. He could fill my void, so to speak,' she added of her handsome pro partner from the ABC dance show.
However, Lisa had earlier warned Kyle to ignore noises coming from her bedroom at night, saying: 'We're on vacation! There might be a little action, some el puffo and el grunto in the Todd bedroom.'
