They just wrapped a triumphant night in Hollywood at the US premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
And on Tuesday afternoon the entire cast of Episode VII were pictured boarding an R2-D2 themed jet, with the fuselage and cockpit painted in the blue pattern of the beloved droid, at the Los Angeles International Airport.
Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher along with newcomers Daisy Ridley and Lupita Nyong'o all joined director J.J. Abrams as they headed to London to awaken the force in the UK.

Joining the cast were life-size versions of R2-D2 and BB-8 as Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) and Anthony Daniels (C-3PO) were also on hand for the long flight.
Han Solo and Luke Skywalker wrapped their arms around each other for some celebratory photos, but there was no indication that real-life pilot Ford would be getting inside the cockpit for the long overseas flight - however, that might just be because it was not the Millennium Falcon.
J.J. Abrams and Lupita, who plays Maz Kanata in the new film, posed for a selfie together on the gangway of the colourful plane, which also had the words Star Wars emblazoned across it.

In 1977 Ford, Hamill, and Fisher changed the world of film forever as they teamed up with George Lucas for what would be one of the most influential and lucrative cinema endeavors of all time, Star Wars: A New Hope.
And with Episode VII of the franchise hitting theatres the trio are set to break even more records, with many experts predicting the film will shatter previous world box office numbers.

Ford, now 73 was only 35 when he first starred as Han Solo in the original trilogy that went on to have many further installments.
While Fisher, now 59-year-old was only 21 when she became an instant symbol of female strength as Princess Leia Organa (now a general in the new film).
But Hamill, now 64, was only 26 when he took on perhaps one of the most iconic roles in cinema as Luke Skywalker, the Jedi knight and student of master Yoda.

On the red carpet for the premiere in Hollywood, Ford reflected on the impact of the film and the role that catapulted him to superstardom.
'Well, in the '70s nobody knew what to anticipate,' Ford said in an interview with Starwars.com. 'Nobody had ever seen anything like it. Now we have to live up to what the first films delivered.'
In addition to Ford's return, Fisher will reprise her role as Princess Leia - now a general - and Hamill is also set to star as Luke Skywalker. Actor Peter Mayhew will also be back as Chewbacca.
