Sharon Stone sues builder for 'messing up remodel at her Beverly Hills home'

The controls for her under-floor heating were installed in her shower, and the shower itself leaks.

Those are just two of the reasons Sharon Stone is suing the construction company she hired to upgrade her opulent home in the tony Beverly Hills neighbourhood of Los Angeles, according to a report from TMZ on Friday.

Apparently, the 57-year-old actress decided to upgrade her master bedroom, master bathroom, kitchen and powder room back in 2013.

She hired Zuma Canyon Construction to do the renovation after the company submitted an estimate for $225,000, the news site reported.

But nearly three years later the Basic Instinct star is less than happy with the quality of the work, according to TMZ.

And TMZ claims the star has discovered the contractor allegedly didn't even get the necessary permits for the extensive remodel.
