Chris Brown's scheduled appearance on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah was canceled at the last minute this week.
The 26-year-old was bumped from the Tuesday night line-up and replaced by TV star Nick Cannon without any explanation from producers.
The re-scheduling comes hot on the heels of Brown being barred from traveling to New Zealand and Australia as a result of his violent past.

Brown's planned appearance on Comedy Central show had reportedly caused disagreements among staff members including several writers and producers.
The Daily Beast reported that some writers took issue with Brown's pattern of aggressive behaviour.
The website also revealed that staff met on Monday for an 'all-hands' meeting where host Trevor Noah said he hoped the Brown interview could be used as an opportunity to candidly discuss the subject of domestic violence.
As Dailymail.com reported in April, Noah, 31, was himself witness to horrific abuse when he was younger in South Africa.
His grandmother revealed that Noah's father shot his mother in the face and tried to hunt the comedian down, threatening to kill him in a fit of rage.

It seems producers weren't convinced however and Brown was abruptly removed from the schedule.
A statement from the network to Washington Post read: 'Guest bookings are always subject to change. The show hopes to reschedule Chris for a future appearance.'
It's another blow to the singer who was denied a visa for entry into Australia and New Zealand for his One Hell Of A Nite tour.
The refusal to let the star in down under stems from his domestic violence conviction against former girlfriend Rihanna.

Ticketek Australia released a statement on Wednesday confirming the cancellation, stating: 'Chris Brown’s December 2015 tour in both Australia and New Zealand will not take place'.
'Mr Brown and the promoters both remain positive that the tour will take place in the near future,' it read.
'He wishes to express his deepest gratitude to the fans for their support and looks forward to a successful tour in the near future.'
The ticket sales company added they would be refunding all fans who purchased tickets to the shows.
Brown has yet to take to social media to comment on the sudden cancellation, but continues to promote his latest single across Twitter and Instagram.
The performances which have been cut from the roster include 'Perth Arena on 9 December, Rod Laver Arena on 12 December, Allphones Arena on 14 December and Brisbane Entertainment Centre on 16 December.
In September the controversial singer took to Twitter to address the issue for the first time after it became publicly known that he had struggled to be approved entry.
'I would be more than grateful to come to Australia to raise awareness about domestic violence,' he wrote to his 15.2 million followers at the time.

Despite the visa woes, Ticketmaster resumed selling seats for Brown's tour, with tickets ranging from $201 to $598.
Days earlier Brown was informed that he would have 28 days to appeal the decision which is based on his 2009 conviction of assault and threatening to kill his former girlfriend Rihanna.
Australia's minister for immigration Peter Dutton, confirmed in September that the singer was issued with a Notice Of Intention To Consider Refusal, a spokesperson stating: 'People to whom these notices are issued have 28 days to present material as to why they should be given a visa to enter Australia.'

'Decisions on whether a visa will or will not be issued are made after that time frame and consideration of the material presented to the Department Of Immigration And Border Protection.'
Activist group GetUp, which has endorsed the ban on Brown entering Australia, said the move sent a strong signal that the government is willing to condemn violence against women.
'Australia is at a crisis point with men's violence against women,' GetUp campaigner Sally Rugg said.
Speaking to the media about his new $41 million domestic violence package two months ago, Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull found himself being questioned about Brown's tour appearances Down Under.
His feelings were quite clear about the singer when he said: 'This is a government that is not afraid to say no'.
