Can you spot banned items on an airport bag scanner?

Not many people are huge fans of security workers at airports, blaming staff for making them late, throwing away their expensive perfume or just making them take their belt off.

But could you do their job?

Simulscan, an aviation security consulting company in Milan, has released a set of images straight from an airport X-ray scanner and is asking you to spot what should and shouldn't make it airside.

"In the Christmas period many passengers will travel by air and many of them do not understand why they can't bring some items on board," said Giulia di Cato from the company.

"Passengers should better understand the hard work screeners face every day in order to keep skies safe and secure, especially when the terrorist threat is so high."
