Revealing: Bryan Cranston opened up about losing his virginity while visiting Amsterdam during his Inside the Actor's Studio appearance on November 25
He began by saying: 'We went to Europe for a month. It cost us like seven or eight hundred dollars, if you don't include the prostitutes.'
The Golden Globe winner explained that he was tagging along with two friends he had gone through academy with at the LAPD, and was not feeling 'tremendously confident.'
'I'm panicking,' Bryan told host James Lipton, as he recalled when his friends had decided to visit the Red Light District, saying: 'I didn't want to tell them I was a virgin.'
Ever the entertainer: The Golden Globe winner had quite the sense of humor about it all, joking it was 'awful... and wonderful... and she and I have been married now for...' (He's actually married to Robin Dearden)
'We go to this house with a red light, which I thought was very convenient and subtle advertising,' he continued.
'I'm backing out. I'm nervous as hell,' Bryan said, as he explained that his friends had walked in and negotiated a deal while he tried to stay behind.
The father-of-one explained that as he waited in the foyer for his friends - who had gone upstairs- he thought: 'So far so good.'
Stressed: The actor admitted he was nervous as his friends decided to visit the Red Light District, and gushed: 'I didn't want to tell them I was a virgin'
His other half: The happily married star was spotted hand-in-hand with his wife Robin Dearden - who he married in 1989 - at Trumbo's premiere in October
But then a woman emerged asking how much money he had. He tried to show her that he didn't have enough, but she took it and led him into a room.
'I don't know if you should be applauding that,' the AMC star then playfully scolded the audience, as they cheered.
And though he described the experience as 'awful and wonderful,' he gushed that 'of course when I got back to the other 20 guys with the group, all 16 to 18 years old, I was good.'
Iconic: Though promoting his new film Trumbo, Bryan was on the show to discuss famous roles such as Walter White on Breaking Bad (pictured) and Hal on Malcolm in the Middle
The 59-year-old has been married to Robin Dearden since 1989, and was previously wed to Mickey Middleton from 1977 to 1982.
Bryan starred on the November 25 episode of Inside the Actor's Studio, to discuss his work on series such as Breaking Bad and Malcolm in the Middle, in promotion of his latest film Trumbo.
He stars as blacklisted screenwriter Dalton Trumbo in Jay Roach's biopic - in theaters in the US now, out February 5 in the UK.
