Ben Scrivens is a very lucky man.

And we're not talking about the recent trade to the Montreal Canadiens that gave the goalie new life in the NHL.

The former Edmonton Oilers netminder benefited from one of the most fortunate bounces ever in his first start with his new club on Tuesday night in Florida.

Insert a "the force is strong with this one" joke here, but what appears to be magic was really just a bouncing puck that went in Montreal's favour.

The Panthers claimed a 3-1 victory regardless of their missed chance. Scrivens made 27 saves and is probably pleased it wasn't reduced to 26 on this play.
