Toronto Raptors centre Jonas Valanciunas broke a bone in his left hand on Friday night in a game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Raptors announced on their Twitter account that X-rays revealed a fracture of the fourth metacarpal and he is expected to undergo further tests. The tweet also said Valanciunas wouldn't return to the game.
Valanciunas played 17:36 prior to the injury, scoring three points with three rebounds and two assists.
The seven-foot, 255 pound Lithuanian and former first-round draft pick has averaged 13.5 points-per game and 9.8 rebounds per game this season.
