Holland Taylor has said she doesn't need to come out.
That's because the 72-year-old actress was never hiding anything in the first place, she told WNYC.org last week. 'I haven’t come out because I am out, I live out,' the movie, TV and theater veteran said.
The Two And A Half Men star also added that her partner, who she would not name, is younger and they have been talking marriage. Taylor has been rumoured to be dating American Horror Story actress Sarah Paulson, 40.

Web site Autostraddle have suggested Taylor and Paulson were an item and pointed out how often they have been together in public.
The site also noted the romantic social media messages they send each other including a fetching shot the theater darling shared of Sarah with the note, 'When captions fail...'
As far as walking down the aisle, it is not something the character actress thought would be feasible.

'Given my generation it would not be something that would automatically occur to me,' said Holland.
'But as a symbol, as a pledge, as a plighting one's troth, it would be a wonderful thing to do,' said the Bosom Buddies vet.
And she found love after having a meltdown over her life years after her mother passed away.
'I just suddenly got the sense that I was living a very shallow life,' The Practice star relayed.
'I had not had wonderful relationships. I had stayed very solo.'
Then she had what she calls an 'aging spurt' at 70 and she was depressed her Tony-nominated one-woman Broadway show, Ann, ended its run in 2013.
'I was always at a certain safe remove I think,' Holland said.
'No matter how much I might have loved a person, I was at some sort of a safe ground, still with a foot on my own island.'

They had great banter: Sheen and Taylor worked together until he left the series in 2011
But her depression opened her up.
'It’s the most wonderful extraordinary thing that could have ever possibly happened in my life,' the Truman Show actress said.
This admission comes just two weeks after her Two And A Half Men co-star Charlie Sheen revealed to Matt Lauer during the Today Show he was HIV-positive.
'It's a hard three letters to absorb. It's a turning point in one's life,' the 50-year-old Wall Street actor said.
Sheen said he made the announcement to end a smear campaign and extortion efforts.
'I have to put a stop to this onslaught, this barrage of attacks and of sub-truths and very harmful and mercurial stories that are about me, threatening the health of so many others that couldn't be further from the truth,' the son of actor Martin Sheen added.
It is not known if Sheen and Taylor are still in communication now that the show has ended. In 2011, Charlie was replaced by Ashton Kutcher.
